About

I am a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in the state of California. I have a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling with a Specialization in Marriage, Family and Children.

I have worked in many different counseling settings including schools, agencies, non-profits and private practice. I have worked with people from all different walks of life and have realized that we are all looking for the same things in life, regardless of age, race, religion or socio-economic background; we all want love, happiness and acceptance.

I would describe my therapy style as eclectic. I have been exposed to and trained in many different counseling theories and have taken a little from each to create my own unique style. I feel this enables me to work with many different types of people and meet them where they are. I have experience working with: families, couples, adults, teens, and children. My clients have ranged in age from 3 to 85. I have worked with people suffering from: depression; anxiety; eating disorders; self-harm; grief; relationship issues; parenting; parent/teenage relationships; self esteem, and life transitions to name a few.

It has been a privilege each and every time someone allows me to hear their story and get to know the core of who they are. I believe the therapist/client relationship is sacred and that developing a trusting relationship between us is the greatest tool for change.
